The Sky. Its like the Birthplace of Thoughts.

Do you ever have those days? Those days where you just look out your window. Just watch the sky. The clouds passing by. Occasionaly seeing a mother taking her child out for a walk or a kid taking his dog for a walk?

The day you just let your mind wander. Without thinking of the time that you're spending, or of anything or anyone else.



I do. Quite a lot :) just leave the window open and just watch. Thinking of everything and nothing at the same time :)

It feels nice. Leaving your worries aside for a brief period of time :) just wandering in thought. Watching the cars move by. Just watching Life move by.
It feels great :) try it out sometime :)

Its been well over a year and we’ve been getting continuous lectures on this examination. Its probably the most important examination of our lives. God marks in this = Acceptance in good College which in turn = Good Job = Good Future.

So yea, no pressure :P

I Just want to wish all the 10^th and 12^th Graders all the very best for their board exams,

We’ve all (well I’m guessing all) have put our life into this one month studying, and I’m sure it’ll pay off :)

It starts in 24 hours. And ends in like 24 days, 15 hours, 59 minutes ^_^

He was a bridge. Between generations. He was that one artist who our parents liked, and we loved. A name on everyone’s mind. Michael Jackson. Its really really rare. But I guess that’s Michael Jackson for us (:

He’s been dead one and a half years, yet there are those fans who are not willing to let go. I’m of those fans. We heard of his death, cried a lot,  but this is one guy who’s lived on even after his death. In the hearts of god knows how many millions.

If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.

He changed the meaning of pop. From the music to the dance. He was a revolution. A craze. He was Michael Jackson.

Even today he is not forgotten. A new album, Michael, was released with some of his previously not released songs.

Also a new Xbox 360 Kinect and PS3 Move game on Michael Jackson is soon to hit the stores. Cirque du Soleil, the famous troupe, is set to do a North America tour, as a tribute to Michael Jackson. He might not be around in person, but his music NEVER grows old. The beat, the lyrics, the DANCE <3

To anyone out there who’s not heard His Classics like Thriller, Beat it, Billie Jean, Heal the World, Black or white, Bad, Jam, Man in the Mirror. God I could go on and on, PLEASE. Go and hear those songs. They’re out of this world :)

A New Year (: A New Beginning :)

The New Year is here. 2011. Marking more than just a new year. For me its technically one of the most important years of my life considering that I have my boards this year. But the purpose of this blogpost is not discussing my exams don’t worry :P

The year marks the start of a new decade.2011 – 2020

A year has a combination of both good moments and bad moments. Moments that make you smile when you remember them and moments which make you cry. So how does one justify whether the year was good or not? By just keeping  one memory in mind?

Nope.

Just look back at the year month by month. Think if you would like to relive that month if you had the choice. And after all that judge whether you actually hated the year overall or you’re just saying that because of one incident.

Out of my 12 months, I would do anything to re-live 10 of the months. The last two months of the year were not were ‘fun filled’. But on the whole, I love 2010. I loved the summer. I made some great new friends over the year. Lost friends who were really close to me.

2010 has been one hell of a ride. It makes roller coasters with upside down loops seem dull. some of the happiest and saddest moments of my life have been in the this year. Its been one mad year.

A lot of people I know keep hoping that 2011 will be better than 2010. To them I would like to say something. Why simply stop at hoping? If you wish your year to be better than the last. Get out there and MAKE it happen. * Be the change you wish to see *. Make this year a year worth remembering. Live it to the fullest. Live every minute of those 525,960 minutes. Okaay fine maybe not every minute considering that you’ll be sleeping and blah blah for so many minutes. xD

But yeah, you get the message. :)

Lesson From Love

Love, its wonderful wonderful thing. It’ll make you happy, on top of the world happy, it’ll give you butterflies in your stomach and it’ll make everything seem alright. But I’m not going to lie to you, love hurts as well.

What I’ve learnt from personal experience is that love is a good thing, a really good thing. But loving if you love unconditionally, you’ll end up hurting yourself. Trust me. I know. Never depend 100% on that one person, because when they’re gone ( GOD forbid) for even the shortest span, be it a week or a month, you’ll be spending most of your nights crying yourself to sleep and loosing yourself. You’ll find it difficult to put on that smile which earlier, used to come on so easily.

Don’t get me wrong, Love is the best thing that will ever happen to you. You will never ever regret it, its magical. But It will hurt. At some point on time or the other, love will hurt you. No matter how hard you try and brace yourself, prepare yourself, it’ll find a way around you and hit you hard. But I guess if your love is genuine, then you’ll face the pain and get back up.

During this time, when that person is not there by your side, you WILL NEED friends. You will need that one person who will understand you, who will be there for you and who will tell you what you’re meant/supposed to hear, not what you WANT to hear.

To me, love is the best thing that’s ever happened. Its been wow. But I loved unconditionally and I wasn’t prepared for a ‘break’. And when it hit me, I was left broken. I loved her too much and didn’t give her enough space. I didn’t give her any time for herself.

Don’t make the same mistake I did. Love. Love a lot. But give your partner the space he/she requires. Its something he/she shouldn't be deprived off.

Innovation

What does Innovation mean to Me?

Innovation can be seen as the process that renews something that exists and is commonly thought to be the introduction of something new. Innovation is something that we see every week. It is simply change. Change in thoughts and change in ideas. It is the improvement on existing technologies. 

Innovation in today’s world is also known as creativity. Creativity is looking at a world from a different angle and trying to better it, and that is innovation. Innovation is the way forward for our civilization. It is the improvement in the standard of living in the society. 

Without innovation our civilization would not be what it is today, we would not have developed from ancient machines to the automated machines we have today. Innovation is something that the society cannot live without. It is necessary.

God

It's been a short while since the Haiti earthquakes which has left almost the entire world devastated and astounded.  This act, along with some thinking on my part, has made me wonder whether in this fast paced life that each one of us lives, is there a God or even the requirement of God.
I won't go into the problems with every country, I'll just talk about my homeland. India. The poverty rate is soaring High, The illiteracy rate is just insane, the corruption, the sadness, the despair, it's all unbearable in India. And after looking at all this, I begin to wonder whether or not god really does exist or not. If he does, for some unknown reason, he refuses to show it. We pray to him everyday, sincerely and in return we ask for happiness and safety, but it seems like those are and will always remain to be expectations and nothing more.
In today's highly commercialized society, we see the top notch businessmen trying to help society and give them a better standard of living. I admit that most of them aren't even doing it for the right reason and are just doing it for the publicity, but it's still want we expect from The Lord. So does that make them almighty? What does that say about our beliefs. Do we believe in god just because it's tradition and so that we may blame the unforeseen on some higher supernatural being? Or is it just human nature? 
I believe it's human nature. I believe belief and hope are what sustains the human civilization, and gives us the drive and determination that we have. Its not that I don't believe in God, I just feel that his role in our lives is different from what we hope or believe it to be. 

Smile. If not for yourself do it for others? :)

Have you ever wondered? how some people can be so happy all the time and keep smiling whenever and wherever?


well 80% of the times, its these happy people that are the saddest on the inside. coz they know that frowning and making a sad face wont do anything. it might just spoil someone else's day.


once in a while, it wouldn't exactly kill you to go up to your friend and ask him how he/she? how's her life etc etc. give him/her a chance to talk. to let out all those emotions bottled up inside. thats something i've learnt. never bottle up feelings. they don't do shit (pardon the language). it just makes you feel worse. let it out. honestly you'll feel much better.



and never ever forget to smile. even though you're in the worst situation possible. just smile atleast around others. coz you never know, who's day you might make with that smile. :)

Be Stupid. Be Mad :D

A general everyday question asked is, “Who are you?” It has a very general and straightforward answer. “My name is Parichay” that’s it? 
NO.
Have you ever tried asking yourself this question? Who are you? What defines you? Are you happy with the life you’re living? If you were to die today (GOD forbid), will you go with satisfaction that you’ve lived whatever years you had to the fullest?
They say your actions and thoughts describe you. Here’s what I think of life. It’s my way of life.

Human beings live for an average of 80 years. In the span of those 80 years, the first 20 go in studying hard, to build a sustainable future, the next 30-40 go in work, earning for your family, and carrying out the various responsibilities of yours, and the last 20 – 30 years, you’re too old to do anything. What a life right? -_-
WRONG!

Find time. Get out there and do all the crazy things you’ve seen on TV. Or you’ve read about.
Things like parasailing, skydiving, bungee jumping from a great height, going on a rollercoaster which has a near 90 degrees vertical drop, scuba diving etc etc. Go for it! We have only one life to live, why live a useless one? It’s your life, make it large: D

No-ones asking you to get out there and make history. That’s just plain stupidity. But at least get out there and make your live a life well lived!
Not a life where your daily routine is this – 
Get up. Brush your teeth blah blah. Eat. Go to work. Come back. Watch a little TV. Eat. And go to sleep. Once in a blue moon go out.
What utter crap.
Don’t compromise on your work hours but at least find time to do the things you’ve always wanted to do?! Live to all those dreams you’ve had.

Think about what I’ve said? It’s my policy. Might not necessarily be yours. 
I’m keeping this one relatively shorter.
